The Cakery Bakery began in 2021 as a humble endeavor in a residential kitchen in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. Founded by Aina Khan, the vision was simple: to bring authentic, high-quality, preservative-free artisanal desserts to families in Old Delhi who were tired of overly sweet, chemically stabilized commercial cakes.
What set us apart was our absolute refusal to use standard cake premixes. While most bakeries buy industrial bags of powdered mix that require only water and oil, we measured our flour, cocoa, sugar, and farm-fresh butter by hand.
Within a year, word of mouth spread. Parents ordered custom cartoon cakes for birthdays, companies booked bulk brownie hampers, and weekend foodies flocked to our live counter. To support this growth, we registered the business, obtained FSSAI Licensing, and passed ISO 9001:2015 quality audits — establishing a home-bakery that holds institutional trust without losing its homemade warmth.

Q: How far in advance do I need to order?
A: Custom celebration cakes and bulk gifting boxes require at least 2–3 days notice. During festive seasons, we recommend booking a week in advance.
Q: Do you offer eggless cakes?
A: Yes! Almost all items on our menu can be customized to be 100% eggless. Our weekend live counter also features eggless brownies and muffin specials.
Q: Do you deliver or is it pickup only?
A: We offer home delivery across Laxmi Nagar and adjacent East Delhi locations. Customers in Old Delhi are also welcome to self-pickup their orders directly from our kitchen.
Q: How can I customize my cake design?
A: Use our WhatsApp order tool to select your flavor, then send us reference images of the design you want. Our baker will call you to align on design details.
